LIBRARY COLLECTIONS

* The Jack London Papers at the Huntington Library
The Huntington's archive of London's papers, numbering about 60,000 items, is the largest London collection in the world and also by far the largest literary archive of personal papers in the library. Thus, the Huntington Library stands at the center of London scholarship, bringing scores of scholars into the research library each year.

In 2000, collector and enthusiast, Waring Jones, donated the Jack London Collection to the University Library, items collected by himself and Carl J. Bernatovech. The collection is especially strong in movie memorabilia, first editions, and magazine first appearances, along with materials written about London.

The papers of Jack and Charmian Kittredge London are generous gifts from the London Estate.
